Unite Professionals Ltd recognise the importance of charitable donations and the Managing Director, Jo Evans has been supporting the vital service delivered by the local foodbank in Southport for a number of years now.
After asking for a most wanted shopping list of items, Judith Stewart, Head of Business Development at the Case Management Company based in Southport and Taunton (pictured here with Vicki Day, Manager of the Southport Food Pantry and Mal- an essential volunteer) delivered the items to The Grace centre on the corner of Market Street and Princes Street in Southport to boost their stocks.
Jo Evans says, “We hope Unite Professionals donation will help in a small way, alongside the incredible valuable advice people receive when visiting the centre” she adds, “The Food Pantry offers a lot more than food. Volunteers provide a listening ear to clients over a warm drink, and signpost people to other charities and agencies who can help”.
The Pantry has a club membership scheme where members can visit each week for a subscription of £4, receive help with budgeting and cooking on a budget and select a set number of items of their own choice from a wide selection.
