Spinathon in aid of Headway brain injury charity

Unite Professionals is pleased to be supporting James and Marion Ferguson in raising funds for their local Headway Hertfordshire!

James suffered significant orthopaedic injuries and a TBI whilst out riding his bike. With the support of friends, family, Headway and the case management of Nicole Cocksedge of UPL, he and Marion have worked hard to reclaim some of the plans they had for retirement.

The couple recently hosted a successful spinathon to raise money for the charity, and as we couldn’t make it to Hertfordshire, UPL MD Jo’s daughter Lauren Evans kindly hosted a ‘shadow’ spinathon in Southport. She put 12 spinners through 3 hours of great tracks and solid slog and sweat to raise £150! Unite Professionals doubled the donation to support the cause.

Thanks so much to all those in Southport who attended and supported and big shout out to our Lauren for making the pain a pleasure and giving us the Hearts for Headway Hertfordshire.

John Archer, the CEO of Headway Hertfordshire, said “Many thanks for your wonderful efforts in support of Marian and James and their fundraising exploits for Headway Hertfordshire.”
